- The Alliance/Assistance goals are to integrate the
knowledge generated at Michigan State University to assist at finding
facts, background, decisions, events, and experts related to land and
water issues. This is a growing concept so please forward any
suggestions and/or feedback that you may have, or if you would like to
personally contribute information or expertise.

- This site represents a multi-departmental
effort to promote land use information dissemination for informed land use decision
making.

- The Interactive Distributive Conservation
Planning (IDCP) system
demonstrates the potential for coupling information on federal, state,
and local policies and activities into the system. A wide array of
digital data and the ability of on-line analysis that utilized this
integrated data was demonstrated. Direct development of implementation
plans evolved from the process. Evaluation of potential impacts and
monitoring for the presence of practices particularly on high-risk areas
was shown.
