Effects of Scale of Presentation
This map is a digital magnification of a selected portion
of the Michigan Surface Elevation
map, including the Old Mission Peninsula, which separates the east
and west arms of Traverse Bay near Traverse City. The 1 km2 raster
cells which compose the original map can be observed on this enlarged view,
but were undetectable in the statewide view.
